Attorney Profile

John C. DewJohn C. Dew is a St. Petersburg native. A graduate of Woodberry Forrest School, Williams College, and the University of Virginia Law School, he joined the Firm in 1959. Mr. Dew is extensively involved in legal education. He has served as an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of law, teaching courses in real property, and he has authored articles for and lectured in the Continuing Legal Education program of the Florida Bar. He is a Regent in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. His civic commitments embrace health, social welfare and business. Mr. Dew is a member of the Pinellas Suncoast Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trustees of All Children's Health System. He is past president of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, the South Pinellas chapter of the American Red Cross and the Rotary Club. In 1980 Mr. Dew completed a course in theological education at the University of the South. Mr. Dew is past president of the St. Petersburg Bar Association, member of the Florida Bar and American Bar Associations. Mr. Dew's practice is concentrated in the areas of Corporate Law, Real Estate and commercial matters.
